A good turnout is expected at the Llys y Frân Reservoir on Sunday, June 6, for Diabetes UK's annual fund-raising and awareness-raising Walk in the Park.
The walk will begin at 2 pm by the restaurant, with staff and volunteers from Diabetes UK on hand to distribute refreshments for those taking part.
Last year's five Walks in Wales raised around £15,000 for diabetes research and information, and Diabetes UK aims to better that total this year. The walks also promote Diabetes UK's message about the importance of sensible exercise.
This year's walks are being supported by the pharmaceutical company Aventis for the first time.
