Tenby and County Club (sponsored by LG Leisure and Get Stuffed Pizza Co.), played host to Star from Pembroke Dock, on Monday evening, and were 5-0 winners.

The first frame saw Mark Cleevely play L. Goldsmith. Mark started the brighter, but missed a black off its spot, before opening up a commanding lead. Struggling to find his rhythm, Mark continued to pot good reds, but missed some 'sitter' colours, before eventually getting over the winning line, to keep his 100 per cent record.

The second frame saw Steve Cook play J. Abbott. Steve started well, opening up a good lead, with his opponent having no answer. Steve continued to flow and for the second week running won convincingly.

The third frame saw captain Glyn Davies play T. Loxton. Glyn has been in a rich vein of form of late and this continued, but it was a lot closer this time (still he keeps the run going, unbeaten in five frames).

The fourth frame saw Kevin James play J. Robinson. Kevin started slowly (as he normally does), but he edged ahead and eventually won a closely contested affair on the pink.

The last frame saw Dave Wooles take on M. Rees, the Tenby player being keen to follow up his previous week's victory. He started cautiously against a seasoned campaigner, but was playing well and continued to plug away. As the frame progressed, however, he came up against some good safety, often finding himself in snookers, but Dave was still potting well and it looked as if the game would go to the wire.

Sure enough, as the colours were reached, Dave was only one point up, but with just pink and black left, he had stretched his lead to 15, leaving his opponent requiring snookers, which he didn't get.

It meant Tenby were left celebrating their first 5-0 victory of the season. Well done.
