Pembrokeshire school governors will be celebrating the 10th birthday of their local federation on Monday, February 7. The annual general meeting of the Pembrokeshire Federation of Governing Bodies takes place at 7 pm at County Hall, Haverfordwest. Refreshments will be served at the start of the meeting. The evening will include the chairman's report for 2004 from Yvonne Evans and the election of the committee for the coming year. There will also be a chance for governors to contribute to the future work of the federation and discuss issues of common interest. Members of the committee currently represent Pembrokeshire governors on a wide range of bodies both within the county and in Wales. All Governing Bodies are members of the Federation and any governor can come along to the meeting.
