On Sunday, 19 members of the Pembrokeshire Ramblers met at Crymych for a seven-mile walk in the summer sunshine.  There was some excitement when Red Kites were spotted circling as the group wended its way towards the slopes of Frenni Fawr.  After a break for coffee, they tackled the climb to the summit (395 metres), to be rewarded by a magnificent view in all directions. The visibility was excellent.  By now it was lunchtime, so another stop was made.  Lunch was eaten to the accompaniment of skylarks and there appeared to be a marked tendency to snooze in the afternoon sun. However, everybody finally managed to rouse themselves and the group descended the steep slope and returned to Crymych via a circular route. Visitors are always welcome on Ramblers' walks.
