Recently, Pembrokeshire Ramblers tried pastures new and walked entirely in Carmarthenshire.
Starting at the old river bridge at Whitland, they skirted south of the milk factory and used the car-free former A40, turning south at Pont-y-Fenni to enter the Little Pale Woods at Dolerwydd. The route followed the flooded River Taf valley and lunch was taken at Llanddowror. The return was via Vaynor Farm and Great Pale Wood to Trevaughan.
