Last weekend, at Ammanford, the Pembrokeshire-based Queen's Dragoon Guards won the West Wales Army Cadet Force Winter Sports Championships.
For the first time in many years, the sports were not hampered by bad weather and the Pembrokeshire cadets put in a good showing in each category.
The championships included girls hockey, rugby, football and cross-country.
Cadets from the county will now go on to compete at the Welsh championships at Kimmel Park, North Wales, in two weeks time.
