Situations in Sudan, China, Sri Lanka and Pakistan were given support and prayer on Tuesday evening at the meeting of PPSC.

It was hosted by the Christian Community Church of Narberth and held in the Bloomfield House Community Centre.

Rev. Peter Richmond led the evening with Powerpoint slides, short films and up-to-date news of Christians facing persecution and suffering.

It was not all bad news, however; some recent stories of heroism, healing and success were included.

Attendance was down on usual, with about 17 people taking part, but the collection on the night came to £63, with more expected. The money this month will be sent to Release International for four important projects they are running in Sri Lanka.
