Pembrokeshire mums have been very busy over the last few weeks learning first aid and gaining confidence to treat their children.
The course, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, was part of the 'Step' project, run by Pembrokeshire College and was offered free of charge to all parents.
Heather Jenkins, of Pembrokeshire College (and St. John's Ambulance) put the parents through their paces during the course held at Fishguard Health Centre.
The course content covered areas such as treating someone choking, having an asthma attack, the recovery position and dealing with a broken thumb!
Betsan Ifans, nursery nurse for Hywel Dda Health Board, said: "It has been a lot of fun as the babies have been with us as well. I think Heather and the parents all enjoyed the course and parents have gained both knowledge and confidence in administering first aid.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Step Project at Pembrokeshire College and Heather for their hard work and also congratulate all the parents who participated and gained a certificate of completion at the end of the course."
