Pembrokeshire College Golf Academy, the first golf academy in Wales, has maintained its unbeaten record in junior matches with a draw in their recent match against Gorseinon College.

Fielding a side combining first and second year students, Pembrokeshire College's Welsh international Mikey Harries combined well with Dyfed Junior Order of Merit winner Julian Davies and were more than a match for the opposition, although it should be pointed out that Julian did have Welsh senior Richard Scott as caddie!

Simon Harries aided by new boy Scott Davies also had an easy win. And new boys Paul O' Callaghan, Adam Cunningham, Oliver Rowles and Nathan Lewis had narrow losses.

Haverfordwest golf professional Alex Pile, who gives students three tuition sessions a week, said: "I'm impressed by the potential shown by the new intake of students this year. I am certain that they will all be winners in our return match next spring."
