The sixth edition of the Pembrokeshire Food and Drink Directory was unveiled last Wednesday at the Royal Welsh Show. The directory was launched by the leader of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. John Davies, at the authority's stand. Often described as the 'yellow pages' for Pembrokeshire's hospitality and retail sectors, the directory is designed to help county businesses to source local food and drink. The new edition contains over 200 entries, from producers to distributors, retailers and wholesalers. The directory has been put together by the Food Team in Pembrokeshire County Council's economic development department and funded jointly by the council and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority. Seen at the launch are chief executive of Pembrokeshire County Council, Bryn Parry-Jones; leader of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. John Davies; food officer Kate Morgan; show president Edward Perkins, and the president's lady, Eireen Perkins.
