Fire crews from across Pembrokeshire, including Tenby and Narberth, attended a serious fire at Dyfed Cleaning Services Ltd., Milford Haven, on Wednesday night.
Six fire appliances, an aerial rescue platform and two water bowsers were used at the incident.
The fire, which broke out at approximately 11 pm, was particularly intense and involved the whole building.
Nearby residents were notified that they may need to be evacuated, but the fire was brought under control in sufficient time.
Incident Commander Steve Bryant said: "Our crews worked very hard throughout the night to fight and contain the fire. Both the location of the premises and a nearby railway line made access difficult.
"Crews were at the scene all night and were expected to remain there during the day to ensure the fire was properly extinguished. An investigation into the cause of the fire has started."
