Local farmers are invited to attend the next Pembrokeshire NFU Cymru county meeting on Monday, June 6, to be held at Agriculture House, Winch Lane, Haverfordwest.

The meeting will start at 8 pm and will include updates by county delegates from recent NFU Cymru commodity board meetings. During the meeting, those present will also receive an update on recent NFU Cymru lobbying on the issue of Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZ) designations, including a report from a meeting with Welsh Government.

Walter Simon, Pembrokeshire NFU Cymru county chairman said: “The meeting is open to all NFU Cymru members and it will be a great opportunity to receive more information on the potential for extension of NVZ designations in Pembrokeshire. I urge you all to come along to gain clarity on this issue and to ask any questions you may have.”
