Wildlife and landscape scenes are livening up the look of a number of Pembrokeshire's coastal buses. The new branding can now be seen on the Celtic Coaster, Poppit Rocket, Coastal Cruiser and Puffin Shuttle, which are all services promoted by Pembrokeshire Greenways. A service bus running between Tenby and Pendine is also displaying coastal scenes. The idea behind the artwork is to promote the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the stunning landscapes and wonderful wildlife that can be seen there. It is hoped that the new eye-catching designs will also help to encourage more people to use the buses. It's in line with the aim of Greenways, which is to encourage visitors and local people to use sustainable transport. Present at the launch of the new branding, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority chairman Clr. Simon Hancock said: "The wonderful pictures on the buses will make everyone more aware of the spectacular scenery and wildlife of the Park that we're all here to help look after. And one of the best ways to see the Park is by bus." Pembrokeshire County Council's cabinet member for highways, transportation and asset improvement, Clr. Jamie Adams commented: "This eye-catching livery should really make these local bus services stand out. We hope more and more people will jump on the bus instead of using their cars within the National Park." The graphic designs for the buses were created by Helen Lewis, and produced by Sigma Exhibition Services Ltd.
