The village of Star in North Pembrokeshire is holding a coffee morning this month to raise money for a village defibrillator.
The fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, September 28 from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm at Star Chapel Vestry.
Entry is £3 each to receive free refreshments.
The small village’s recent claim to fame was hosting the Dark Skies event launched by British astronaut Tim Peake (pictured) in October 2019.
All of the residents turned off their lights to help local young people enjoy the dark skies.
The new fundraising for the village defibrillator and electric box has a target of £2,000.
Please support if you can with thanks going to those who have already given generously.
The committee have set up a Just Giving account that can be reached on www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/star-community-fund
