Three ladies from Pembrokeshire - also known as The Huffing and Puffins - recently undertook the London Moonwalk, raising a magnificent £2,500 for breast cancer charities along the way.

This full marathon charity walk, which took place on May 17, starts at Clapham Common and travels through the streets of London - beginning at 11 pm, with those taking part walking through the night!

"We were so pleased to complete it in such a good time - Christine and Jessica have never done a marathon before and the last time I did this event was 20 years ago!” said Alison.

There were over 6,000 participants this year taking on the challenge, and Pembrokeshire trio - Christine Harries, Alison Lewis and Jessica Bickerton all completed the 26.2 miles at a fast pace, and in the process have raised over £2,500 for breast cancer charities.

The charity is ‘Walk the Walk’ who donate all funds raised to other charities and organisations treating breast cancer and so participants decorate bras to wear on their journey - a sight to behold!

The trio are swimming buddies from Pembrokeshire and were just as keen to get fit and have a challenge, as well as helping to raise money for a great cause.

"We were so pleased to complete it in such a good time - Christine and Jessica have never done a marathon before and the last time I did this event was 20 years ago!” said Alison.

"Getting fitter by the power walking training, having a really fun and special time together and raising so much money for a charity so close to my heart feels very good indeed!” she added.
