Pembrokeshire has been the hub for many new and potential projects within the energy industry and this is an ideal time to find out more about what is going on in the county with regards to renewable energy.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum is hosting a 'Pembrokeshire Renewables' day to be held at the Merlin Theatre, Pembrokeshire College, on Saturday, March 28.

The day will comprise a series of talks with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. As part of the day, the West Wales Eco Centre will be chairing a panel debate with a team of renewable energy experts.

There will be a number of speakers lined up looking at renewable strategies/targets at national level, companies talking about new and potential projects around the Pembrokeshire coastline, and also look at what can be achieved with renewable energy at community level and within individual households.

Daryl Walsh, of the Coastal Forum team, said: "This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in renewable energy to find out more about the subject and ask questions of the experts."

The event is free, but it is important that people get in touch with the Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum to register for the event.

After 'Pembrokeshire Renewables', the Coastal Forum will be holding its AGM and all are welcome for the meeting.

All are welcome to this free event, which will start at 10 am promptly and continues until 2.30 pm, with refreshments included.
