Paul Sartori Hospice at Home is delighted to announce the successful outcome of a fundraising Ladies Day, hosted by The Alpha Inn, Tavernspite which raised over £3,000 for the Pembrokeshire charity.
The event held in September was a complete sell-out and featured a delicious afternoon tea, with Prosecco on arrival for the guests. Entertainment was provided by a live saxophonist as well as music from talented local musician John Baker.
Local people and businesses showed good will and generosity by donating some fantastic raffle prizes for the special event, including Stopio in Narberth and Cenarth Holiday Park Spa, to name only a few.
All profits, culminating in £3,319.20 went to the Paul Sartori Foundation and will make a valued and meaningful contribution to the work they do.
Yvette Hughes, proprietor of The Alpha Inn, said: “We have a long history of fundraising for good causes and are delighted to raise funds for such a fantastic Pembrokeshire charity. We were delighted that the Paul Sartori Charity Manager, Sandra Dade could attend and deliver a talk to the guests about the important work they do.”
Furthermore, it is anticipated that Paul Sartori will receive a further £1,000 of match-funding from Barclays, an amazing result for the organisers of the event.
