PEMBROKE Dock exile, Mrs. Eleanor Parsons, has submitted a poem entitled 'Pembrokeshire' to the Star of Pembrokeshire Poetry Anthology. Mrs. Parsons said: "I have just read the book, 'A Tenby Lifeboat Family' by Avis Nixon and I found it very interesting due to the fact my uncle and his sons are mentioned in it. My uncle was Thomas Richards and four of his sons were also Tenby lifeboatmen. At the back of the book it says if anyone would like to write a poem with Pembrokeshire in mind, so I wrote one. My name was Eleanor Bunt and I was from Pembroke Dock." Mrs. Parsons ended her poem with the evocative words: 'The coastline of Pembrokeshire Its beauty will remain Everyone who visits Will come back again.' The Star of Pembrokeshire Poetry Anthology is currently being compiled on the internet and can be easily located by typing keywords 'Tenby' and 'publishers' into the www. google.com search- engine. At some stage in the future, it is hoped to publish the anthology as a Star of Pembrokeshire series paperback of which there are currently three titles in-print: A Tenby Lifeboat Family by Avis Nixon (Lifeboats the Human Story); Silly Mid off by Dave Ainsworth (Cricket lovely Pembrokeshire Cricket) and Preseli Bluestones by Sion Pysgod (Pembrokeshire's X-Files).
