Trefloyne are big fish fans! Fish is always a feature of the menu with their ‘Naked Fish’ Board - so what exactly do they mean by ‘naked’ fish?
“We always take great care to source the freshest fish from local Pembrokeshire waters - our fish comes from the quay where it’s landed straight to our kitchen - short of cooking it on the boat, you can’t get fresher than that!
“When the fish is this good, we want to ensure the natural flavours hit your palette, so the emphasis is on excellent but simple cooking and served with simple sides, so nothing on the plate takes anything away from the quality of the fish. Because it’s not dressed up, we call it naked,” explained Tom Beynon, general manager.
So with fish being a little bit special at Trefloyne, there are plans for something to interest anyone who likes seafood - four evenings featuring paella; some alternative fish to the usual catches; crab and lobster; and roasted fish to share will be hosted - full details and dates in the ad below.
The normal fish board is also available at lunchtimes and of course if there are non fish-eaters in your party, there is a choice of meat, poultry, burger, pie and vegetarian dishes on the new ‘Any-time-of-day’ menu recently launched at Trefloyne.
