We suggest booking at least six months in advance. It’s your day, so to ensure you are not disappointed, pay a deposit to keep your day. The florist will arrange with you to come back and go through everything with you, offering to get mock-up colours and flowers.

What are the most popular flowers for bouquets?

Roses, orchids, gerbera, lily, lisianthus, freesia, calla lily, while wild and garden flowers have been very popular this year.

What are the most popular styles?

Handtied bouquets are the main style chosen, with a natural look and feel to them.

What type of bouquets do bridesmaids and flower girls have?

Bridesmaids and flower girls have smaller handties like the bride, or flowers to match their dresses. We have made hoops for flower girls which look pretty. Bridesmaids also have wrist corsages that look good too.

What are popular flowers for buttonholes for grooms and their groomsmen?

Roses are popular, as are a lot of garden and wild flowers.

Do you also decorate the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

We also decorate wedding venues and other corporate functions.

What advice would you give a bride looking to choose her wedding flowers?

I would ask a bride what flowers she likes, what budget she wants to spend and offer her advice on flowers best for her day.

What do you like most about arranging flowers for weddings?

I love my job, giving advice and seeing the bride on the special day when I deliver the flowers to her and her bridesmaids, plus of course making sure she is happy with everything. It’s a lovely feeling for my staff and I after all our hard work.
