A two-day collection was held at Morrison's store, Haverfordwest, in aid of the Pembrokeshire Counselling Service. The total sum raised was £821.09.

Pembrokeshire Counselling Service provides a vital free, voluntary, confidential and bilingual facility for all age groups in the county of Pembrokeshire and parts of neighbouring Ceredigion.

It is a charitable organisation reliant on local fund-raising, donations and match-funding.

With increasing pressure on people today - at work, in their personal lives, and financially - the demand for the service in the county is ever-growing.

The organisation's voluntary counsellors gave counselling to nearly 400 clients last year.
