Young swimmers from Pembroke made a splash at the recent Pembrokeshire Long Distance Championships.
Pembroke and District Swimming Club put in a gold medal-winning performance at the annual event.
Michael Hire won the boys 12 and under 800 freestyle, setting a new county record time of 10.32.43 mins.
The record has stood for 13 years and was previously held by club coach David Thompson, who was on poolside to see it broken!
Second, third and fourth places in the race were won by club members, Jonathan Orchard, Daniel Thomas and Oliver Crawford, respectively, with all swimming personal best times.
Meanwhile, Daniel Thomas won the boys 13 and under 1,500 freestyle, taking gold in a time of 23.17.65 mins.
Oliver, Jonathan and Daniel take part in the Pembrokeshire Skills camps, while Michael is in the Pembrokeshire County Performance Squad.
Other Pembroke swimmers who did well - all setting personal best times - were Lucy James, who took fourth place in the girls 13 and under freestyle, and Carys Thomas, Dylan Hunt, Leigh White and Abbie Williams.
The long distance championships cover 1,500 and 800-metre freestyle races. This year's event was held at Pembroke Leisure Centre, with the medals presented by Swim Wales president, Bob Adams.
Coach David Thompson said all the swimmers had performed well and their achievements were the result of the hard work and dedication they had put into their training.
