'Awesome!, great, when are we going back?' Those were just a few of the comments after a party of Year 10 students from Pembroke School visited Malta during the Easter holiday. They played hockey and netball matches against local teams, toured the historic island and even took part in a movie. To finance the visit, the girls organised various fund-raising activities, including discos and taking part in the Tenby Boxing Day Swim. As Pembroke Dock and Pembroke are twinned with the town of Pembroke, Malta, the joint twinning committee contributed towards the visit, which was a resounding success, and plans are already underway for a return visit.

The party being presented with a cheque by Hugh Colley (secretary/treasurer) and Clr. Aden Brinn (chairman).
