Recently, a group of Pembroke Probus Club members visited Milford Haven Museum.
They were warmly welcomed by museum staff Derek Davies and Ken Watson, and prior to a tour, Derek gave the party a short, but very comprehensive history of Milford town.
President David Holt said that in his many years as a Friend of the Museum he had never heard a more detailed and enthralling account given with such enthusiasm.
Members were guided around the museum by Ken, who described many of the artefacts on display, giving an insight into their historic significance and how and why they came to be displayed in the collection.
Before leaving, model-maker David Holt officially handed over a model of the Pembrokeshire lugger Sea Horse to the museum.
The party then thanked their hosts and retired to The Harbourmaster pub for an excellent meal.
