Police are warning parents they are putting their and their children's lives at risk by parking dangerously around a school. The Pembroke neighbourhood policing team have sent a letter home with all pupils at Grove School to highlight the problem. PCSO David Powell said: "Complaints are being received that the parking around the Grove Hill area of the school is getting very dangerous and we are concerned an accident could be imminent. "It is the responsibility of those dropping off or collecting the children to park their vehicles safely without causing obstruction or danger to other road users, pedestrians or residents." PCSO Alex Jenkins added: "Police officers and the traffic warden will be issuing fixed penalty tickets to those motorists who do not take our advice and continue to put peoples' lives at risk."
