Can you imagine a milking competition taking place within the Town Hall? This was one of the intriguing photographs Pembroke Ladies Probus were shown at their last meeting, when Edward Morris gave an account of the 200 year History and Heritage of Pembroke Farmers Club. Before finally coming to Lamphey the shows took place in various places including Pembroke Castle, Monkton Priory, Bierspool, and The Green. It was fascinating to see how the club has developed over the years and the challenges that local farming families have faced.
