The wedding took place at St. Mary's Church, Pembroke, on Saturday, of Mr. Scott Bryant and Miss Tracey Powell. The groom, an assistant site manager with Redrow Homes, is the son of Peter and Lesley Bryant, of Poyers Avenue, Pembroke, while the bride, a training manager for Motorquote insurance services, is the daughter of David and Shan Powell, of Lowless Close, Grove Hill, Pembroke. Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown featuring a bodice with sequins and beads and a tulle full skirt. Bridesmaid was her sister, Joanne Powell, who wore a lilac silk dress with lilac beading. Best man was Carl Bryant (groom's brother) and the ushers were Daniel and Kevin Powell (bride's brothers) and Dom Edwards and Christian Evans (groom's friends). Charlie Marsh acted as page boy. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Roger Jones. Readings were given by Tom Bryant (groom's nephew) and Yvonne Hughes (bride's friend), while soloists were Tim Bourne and students. A reception was held at the Castlemead Hotel, Manorbier. The couple, who will be making their home in Penarth, will be spending their honeymoon in Australia later in the year.
