The club met last Thursday evening to hear a most interesting talk, illustrated with a video, given by Annie Haycock, about the Wildlife of New Zealand. A vote of thanks was given by Carola Robbins. The previous Thursday, Rev. Anthony Bailey had talked about Arts in Churches and the work of ARCH, a charity to help preserve such arts. As the trip to Cardiff planned for yesterday (Thursday) had to be cancelled, Mike George was due to give, at very short notice, a talk about Fire Fighting in the Middle East. Thursday, December 7, will be the Christmas Party, with entertainment by Laurie and Pauline.

This will be the last meeting of this session of Thursday evening meetings. The club will re-open for the spring season on February 1, when Avis Nixon will be talking about the Tenby Lifeboat in Victorian Times.
