The second week's fixtures of the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock LVA Quiz League saw high scoring games, the highest scorers being the Alma B, with a couple of surprise results and it looks at this early stage the league is going to be very close.

The First and Last beat the Oak in a very tight encounter by just two points, while the Charlton A had the beating of their B team by nine points.

The Alma B travelled to the station B and came away with a huge 22-point win and the Naval Club overcame the Station A by the same margin, and at the Alma, the A team entertained St. Govan's Inn, coming out winners by 11 points.

The results for the week were - Station B 66 Alma B 88; Naval Club 86 Station A 64; First and Last 78 Oak 76; Charlton B 68 Charlton A 77 and Alma 84 St Govan's 73.

After two rounds of the quiz, the early leaders, all with six points, are the Alma B, Charlton A and the Alma A.
