Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in South Pembrokeshire.

A pedestrian was killed after being involved in a collision with a white delivery van during the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.

The accident, in which 33-year-old Geoffrey Williams, from Llwynpia, Tonypandy, died, occurred on the A478 New Hedges bypass at around 1.40 am.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen a pedestrian walking between New Hedges and Tenby at this time, or who may have witnessed the accident, to call the Roads Policing Unit in Haverfordwest on 101.
