A Haverfordwest police officer is in training for this year's London Marathon. PC Ellen Coles (pictured) is running the race for Sense, which is the UK's largest organisation for children and adults who are deafblind or have associated disabilities. She said: "I have always wanted to run the London Marathon before I was 30 and seeing as I am 29 this year, I thought that I should pull my finger out and apply. "My training is going well so far, but I am a complete beginner and am therefore following a training plan. "You have to be of a fairly high level of fitness to be a police officer, but a marathon is completely different and a real challenge." This year's London Marathon takes place on April 13.
