A fun event for dog lovers proved to be a barking success at the weekend.
Pembrokeshire County Council's second Paws in the Park attracted around 500 people and 150 dogs to Scolton Manor on Sunday.
Dog owners - and their pets - travelled from all over Pembrokeshire and further afield to learn about safe handling, care and responsibility for their pets.
The event, which was part sponsored by Dingle Marquees and All Pets Vet Care, built on last year's pilot show.
It included demonstrations by international sheep dog trainer Meirion Owen and his Quack Pack - he uses ducks instead of sheep - as well as reading lessons for children from Lizzie the Listening Dog!
Pembrokeshire County Council's animal welfare and dog control departments were on hand to provided microchipping and expert advice, while several canine charities such as Pets as Therapy, Greenacres, Doglost and Many Tears also attended.
There were various fun classes of competitions run by Pembrokeshire Happy Dogs - winning dogs included Bobbie, Blodwen, Roger, Murphy, Millie, Lottie, Ruby, Lola, Barney, Moss, Toffee, Shadow, Tess, Monty, Marmie Morgan Meg and Toby.
Next year's event will be held on Sunday, August 7, and is promised to be bigger and better than ever!
