The Paul Sartori Hospice at Home charity has recently been awarded the Disability Confident Committed Certificate.
Being Disability Confident can benefit the organisation in a number of ways, such as helping:
• tap into the huge pool of talent amongst disabled people, and recruit, retain and develop people with the skills you need
• increase understanding of disability and how to make the most of the opportunities provided by employing disabled people
• remove barriers that might be preventing disabled people and those with long term health conditions from accessing employment with us
• play a part in ensuring that disabled people have opportunities to ful?l their potential and realise their aspirations.
Paul Sartori’s membership as a Disability Confident Committed employer lasts for three years, and if during that period, they progressed to a higher level, then the three year period will restart at the new level.
“We are thrilled to be recognised as being part of this scheme and look forward to continuing to support our wonderful staff, volunteers and trustees who assist in raising vital funds for Paul Sartori Hospice at Home,” said Sandra Dade, charity manager at Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.
