DURING a recent celebration dinner, held by the Rotary Club of Saundersfoot at the Merlewood Hotel, which was attended by members, wives and guests, Paul Harris Fellowship awards and citations were presented to five founder members of the club.

During the 35 years since the club was formed in 1976, the five - Lionel Allen, Gwynfor Davies, Ian Nicholls, Vince Hurlow and Don Johns - have held various offices and are still much involved in the club's activities.

Paul Harris Fellowships are awarded on behalf of Rotary International in recognition of members contributions to the Rotary movement and ideals.
