Narberth Army Cadet Force has been given a pat on the back by the town's county councillor.

The force's numbers are growing and County Clr. Wynne Evans said this week: "I would like to thank all involved with the local cadet force. They participate in so many community events, and attract new cadets, not just from Narberth, but surrounding towns and villages.

"It is a real credit to the hard work of both squadron Sergeant Paul Mason and Sergeant Major Elliott Daley, and to the young people themselves.

"I am sure they are always looking for new recruits, and meet in the cadet hut at Narberth town moor."
