Local county councillor Wynne Evans has recently called for parking improvements to be made for residents at Narberth's Garfield Gardens.
"Over the course of the last few months, I have been called up to this very busy estate to witness for myself the severe shortage of parking," said Clr. Evans.
"This is the case in many estates across the county and with more households having more than one vehicle, it adds to tension amongst residents over much sought-after parking places and, on occasions, cars being blocked in by other drivers."
Clr. Evans continued: "It concerns me that in that particular residents area, a number of people work for the emergency services and need to exit the estate to attend an incident.
"Parking for the disabled is also something that attention needs to be drawn to."
Clr. Evans says he has now submitted a number of letters and has asked Pembrokeshire County Council for a feasibility study to be carried out to see how the situation can be improved. He is also asking for improved lighting which he says is 'essential' in certain parts of the estate.
