Discussions on the decriminalisation of parking in Tenby and other parking enforcement issues that will affect the town in the future will be the topic of the next PACT (Police and Communities Together) meeting on Wednesday, November 3, at the town's Augustus Place Community Centre.
Pembrokeshire County Council's senior traffic engineer, Mr. Geoff Sutton, will be at the meeting to discuss issues relating to the county council taking over civil parking enforcement in the area, which will come into effect from February 1 of next year.
At Tuesday night's meeting of Tenby Town Council, Clr. Mike Evans encouraged members to go along to the meeting and said that it would be very informative for members of the public too, while the town clerk, Mr. Andrew Davies, said that a similar meeting recently held in Pembroke Dock had gained positive feedback.
The PACT meeting will start at 7 pm.
