Parking ban will deny beach access

Sir,

I do not know how many of your readers saw the notice in your 'paper on March 19 indicating that the county council plan to ban all parking on either side of the road leading to, and beyond, The Glen Beach during the summer months.

The only access to The Glen Beach at high tide is via the adjacent road. If this parking ban goes ahead, many of us, coming from a distance, will be unable to enjoy the beach as we have done in the past.

If, like me, you object to the proposal, you have until April 12 to write to Ian Westley, Director of Transportation and Environment, County Hall, Haverfordwest.
