Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has appointed a new monitoring officer.

John Parsons has taken over from Dewi Davies, who had been with the authority for three years and plans to semi-retire in Ireland. John, a solicitor, lives in Lamphey.

Chairman of the National Park Authority, Clr. Simon Hancock, said: "The role of a monitoring officer is to ensure that the decisions taken by an organisation are lawful and fair. We are very pleased to welcome John to the National Park Authority."
