Last Sunday, saw the annual event take place with this year's chosen charity being Ty-Hafan children's hospital.
A total of £240 was raised, which although not as high as usual, was due to the fact that there were only 16 entries, but it just goes to show how generous were the players who made the effort to turn up.
The competition itself saw Chris Jenkins picking up quickest finish with 15 darts and highest out with a 120. Furthest lady went to Jo Unsworth who surprised herself!
Third place went to Adam Kelly after a rather inebriated Colin Hallwood conceded due to the fact that his eye to arm co-ordination had somewhat gone astray, and Adam then donated his prize to the charity.
The final saw a repeat of last year, and it was a bit close to say the least as Danny Unsworth just lost out by 3 legs to 2 against the prolific Chris Jenkins, who also donated some of his prize money.
In the first round losers knockout, the final saw Anthony Unsworth beating fellow teammate Richard Morris.
Other achievements apart from the ones mentioned above saw Chris, also hit a 16 darter and a 180, Paul Scheffler 180 and 116 out, Danny Unsworth 20 darts, Stuart Hughes 17 darts, Anthony Unsworth 101 out and Ben Farr 20 darts.
Many thanks to Melrose and Adam for providing a great day out and main sponsors Kelly's Inns and Felinfoel Brewery.
