FIVE members of staff from Tenby's Sainsbury's store recently ventured to London to celebrate painting the Paralympics park Sainsbury's orange, as Sainsbury's were one of the main sponsors of the Paralympics 2012.

"As we settled into the basketball arena, it became awash with the white t-shirts of over 5,000 Sainsbury's colleagues all there to cheer on both wheelchair basketball teams Mexico and Germany, with a half-time demonstration by Justin King, chairman and CEO of Sainsbury's," said Lorraine Jones, who was accompanied by colleagues Jill, Claire, David and Alyn.

"We were very fortunate to be able to see the whole park -what a wonderful sight, to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, and as a bonus, it was such a beautiful sunny day just for us!

"We had a fantastic day, saw some once-in-a-lifetime sights and arrived home exhausted, but very happy!"
