Pembrokeshire County Council is currently carrying out general maintenance of the highway retaining wall at The Paragon in Tenby. The contractors are clearing the vegetation growing in the open joints to the masonry, raking out loose sections of pointing, and repointing with hydraulic lime mortar. It has been necessary to carry out some of the works using rope-access contractors due to the location of the wall. Similar works are planned for sections of The Esplanade highway retaining wall.
