OF all the traditional pantomimes where men are played by women and women are played by men, probably the one which does this most is Cinderella when the Ugly Sisters are men and the Prince and Dandini are women! Well, what would pantomime be without its idiosyncrasies! Talking of Cinderella, that is what this year's Saundersfoot Footlights offering will be. If you are available from December 4 to 9 and can spare one or two nights a week for rehearsals, why not go along to the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, at 7 pm on Wednesday, September 13, or at 2 pm on Sunday, September 17. Of course, you may prefer to work 'behind the scenes', which is equally important, as without these unsung heroes there would be no show. So, if you are going to be seven (or 77) years old by December 1, why not pop along to either or both auditions.
