This year's 'Shrove Tuesday Pancake Party' at Penally is in the morning of February 5, at the Village Hall, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Your first pancake and coffee, made by a dedicated team from St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's Social Committee, will cost £2. There will be a raffle and a special stall in aid of church funds.
These are changing and challenging times in the village as church and village together are building community life. New initiatives are being welcomed and recently Penally's enthusiastic and talented gardeners met to consider future plans. "The future of village life will depend on everyone and especially those who have come to live here who we hope will share in our life," said a spokesperson.
'Super Pancake Tuesday' is the ideal opportunity for people to meet and welcome new residents.
