Pembrokeshire College performing arts students Nick Tucker, Gareth Evans (pictured) and Kristopher Sanders had their legs waxed recently by some of the beauty students to raise funds for the Merlin Theatre Company's annual pantomime - Cinderella - which will be performed at the Merlin Theatre from December 7 to 11. Through gritted teeth, Gareth explained: "Simon Haslam, our director, is determined to use theatrical explosions in this performance, but they are very expensive so we decided to help the show go with a bang and raise some cash." "So far, Gareth, Nick and Kris - or the smooth operators as they are now known - have raised sufficient funds to provide explosions for half of the shows," commented Simon Haslam. "Quite what they will have removed next to provide the other half is anyone's guess!" he added.
