Recently, local girl Fiona James from Pembroke Dock won a National Beauty Pageant title and was crowned as the new Miss Inspiration UK 2013.

Over 100 applications were received and only 45 made it through to the UK grand final. Miss Inspiration aims to help women grow in confidence and gain the knowledge and experience that is needed to succeed within the pageant industry.

Lydia Yhnell, Pageant director, had this to say: "Fiona is amazing and stands for everything Miss Inspiration is about. We believe she will inspire others and will be a fantastic ambassador for Miss Inspiration. We are excited for her year."

All finalists were asked to raise money for their chosen charity, 'Ieuan the Lion' memorial fund, and raised a total £1,386.

Married mother of three, Fiona wants to use her title to do as much as possible within her local community and throughout the UK. If you have any events, charity events, volunteering Fiona is keen to get involved and make appearances and help in any way she can.
