A huge sense of achievement was felt for the third year in a row on Sunday, with over 165 people taking part in the Pembrokeshire Dawn Walk.

Around 100 started the full 26 miles from Withybush to Cresselly Cricket Club in near perfect walking conditions, a cool, dry day. They were joined at 9 am by the rest of the walkers doing the second, 13-mile part of the route.

For some people it was the third year in a row that they had participated, while for others, it was a new experience.

Thanks again go to the main sponsors, Texaco, Oakwood and Prince's Gate Water.

The community spirit was unbelievable, with huge donations of food, volunteers of marshalls, leg and foot masseurs, cooks for the BBQ, a Pimms bar, even trumpeters to fanfare the walkers into the finish!

Any donations can be made through the treasurer, Debra Webber, c/o Swallow Tree Gardens, Saundersfoot, tel. (01834) 812398.
