On behalf of the Inner Wheel of Tenby, may I once again, through your paper, thank everyone who has participated in Operation Christmas Child, filling shoeboxes with gifts for deprived children abroad.
This year, we have collected and sent away to Serbia 621 boxes, which is an amazing number considering we are still in recession.
Our grateful thanks go to the following for their continued support.
To the staff, children and parents of the local schools, namely, Tenby Infants School, Tenby Junior School, Greenhill School, St. Teilo's School, Manorbier and St. Florence Schools. St. Johns Sunday School, St. Issell's Church and Saundersfoot Baptist Church, Tenby Golf Club, members of Tenby Inner Wheel, Withybush Hospital, Soroptimists, Lamphey Scouts, Amanda Morris, Friends in Kilgetty and Penally and all those who left boxes in the Mini Market, New Hedges, for me to collect - with grateful thanks to Ruth and Matt for their help.
Thank you to everyone who has helped in any way to make this worthwhile project such a success.
