Over 100 fines have been issued for dog fouling across Wales - totalling almost £8,000.
Waste experts at LSS analysed council data to find out which issued the most fixed penalty notices, and how much was paid.
From the councils that submitted data, a total of 118 FPNs were issued according to the latest figures.
Altogether, £7,620 was collected from offenders.
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council issued the most fines at 65, collecting a total of £5,100.
Carmarthenshire Council came second with 14 fixed penalty notices, and a collection total of £750.
“Dog fouling is one of those issues that might seem small, but it really does make a difference to how people feel about their local area,” said Gary Noble, from LSS.
