Over 100 Narberth Rugby Club members and guests, including Wales sevens star James Merriman, a former Otters' junior player, enjoyed the new style informal annual dinner and presentation evening at the clubhouse. He paid tribute to the support and hard work of the players and the help that he had received from the coaching team and team management. He mentioned the sterling service provided to the club over the years by scrum-half Chris MacDonald, who has decided to hang up his boots after a long glittering playing career He concluded by saying that there was a lot to look forward to as nearly all of the squad have signed up for next season. Only three people will be leaving the club, namely utility back Mark Davies, flanker Matthew Davies and Fijian international lock Emori Katalau, who will become player/coach of Tenby United with the good wishes of the Narberth club.
